My Story
Big Half follows a stunning 13.1 mile closed-road course, starting by London's iconic Tower Bridge and finishing at Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
It's a community running festival that brings Londoners of all backgrounds and abilities together in a celebration of the city's diversity - while raising much-needed funds for charity in the process!
The Rainy Day Trust is the only charity which exists solely to help people who have worked in the UK’s home improvement and enhancement industry.
The Rainy Day Trust provides support, help and training in a number of ways. Whether this is a with little help covering the bills, or helping you to help yourself with additional training and support.
Financial assistance can take a number of different forms. It could be assistance with the payment of utility bills, essential household maintenance, mobility equipment and installations and much more. With the cost of living crisis, the Rainy Day trust is needed more than ever which is why I've committed to raising £400 for my half marathon attempt.
